Get to know Coach Blanca Timoskevich (Coach T as she is affectionately known). Coach T was born in Mexico City but grew up in San Antonio in a Spanish-speaking home. She has taught Second Grade, First Grade, Pre-K3’s and Kinder for a total of 26 years. She earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in teaching from Trinity University. It is her 7th year at SAC, where she has received the honor of Teacher of the Year. As a teacher and a parent, she values the importance of developing the virtue of perseverance through a growth mindset. In her role as “coach” she provides an active learning environment where children can feel empowered by their own discoveries and milestones. She enjoys her indoor cycling class, as well as spending time doing a variety of outdoor activities with her grandkids like hiking, swimming, gardening, and outings around town! .
