Teacher Elem 5th Grade
Get to know Coach Evett Cortes! Coach Cortes teaches fifth grade. She attended Iowa State University and obtained a Master of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and an Associate degree in English. She has worked as a developmental specialist, director of a preschool and as a certified bilingual teacher in both Texas and Beirut, Lebanon. Coach Cortes’ goal is to make the year successful for her students and prepare them to continue their journey as sixth graders.
