Get to know Coach Lavergne Guthrie! Coach Guthrie teaches fourth grade at Collegiate. She has taught at Collegiate since its opening in Fall 2017 but has taught in San Antonio for 18 years. Coach Guthrie graduated from Texas State with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She then continued her education at University of Texas San Antonio and earned her Master’s degree in Special Education. Her certifications include Early childhood through Fourth grade, ESL and Special Education.
