With 18 years of experience in education, Sarah Riojas earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Texas A&M System Center in 2006 and her Master’s degree in Education Administration from Texas A&M University–San Antonio in 2011. She began her career with Somerset Academies of Texas 11 years ago as a 3rd grade teacher. She later served as an Instructional Coach at Somerset Academy Brooks before becoming the Assistant Principal at Somerset Academy Collegiate, where she is committed to supporting students, teachers, and families while fostering a positive, student-centered learning environment.

Outside of school, Mrs. Riojas is happily married and the proud mother of five children, two currently attending college, one recent Somerset Academy Collegiate graduate, and two daughters who attend Collegiate. As both an educator and a parent, she understands the importance of creating meaningful opportunities for students to grow academically and personally. When she's not cheering on students at school events, Mrs. Riojas enjoys hiking, camping, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Mrs. Riojas is passionate about helping students discover their unique path, build confidence, and celebrate their achievements along the way. She believes that every student has the potential to succeed when they are supported, challenged, and encouraged to reach their goals.
